Yes, it is! We purchase our suet (which we make our tallow from) from halal certified butcher.

The scent of our tallow products can vary depending on the formulation. If the product doesn’t contain added essential oils, it may have a mild, natural aroma, which is a sign of the tallow's purity. However, most of our tallow products do include pure essential oils, which impart a light, pleasant fragrance. In these cases, the natural tallow scent is often not noticeable, allowing the essential oils to take center stage. So, whether or not the tallow scent is detectable really depends on the specific product you're using.

Our Just Tallow balm can be safely used during pregnancy and nursing period. Its handmade crafted from double purified grass fed beef tallow without anything else added to it. All the non toxic nourishment without any chemicals.

Timeless Allure Whipped Tallow Balm is also a safe option when you are expecting.

However our balms which contain castor oil should be avoided when you are pregnant or when you breastfeed your baby. Castor oil can induce premature labor and there is not enough research to know wheteher it's safe to use it during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

To be on a completely safe side we recommend using our Just Tallow balm which contains nothing else than natural, purified grass fed beef tallow. Just pure 1 ingredient goodness for your little one.

Please keeep in mind that some of our tallow balms contain castor oil and it's not clear wheteher it's safe for infants or children. Please do you own research before deciding if you are confident to us castor oil on your baby.

We always recommend to do skin patch test on you baby's skin before using any balm.

We begin with high-quality, grass-fed beef suet (beef fat), which we slowly boil with water and salt for several hours. The water doesn’t mix with the melted fat, but together with salt helps to draw out impurities from the fat. Once the boiling is complete, we strain the liquid and refrigerate it. As the mixture cools, the water, impurities, and salt settle at the bottom of the bowl, making it easy to separate and discard these unwanted elements.

To ensure the purity of the tallow, we repeat this process multiple times until we are left with a beautiful, clean, and mostly odorless tallow. This final product is then ready to be transformed into our luxurious balms, ensuring the highest quality and effectiveness.

We are using organic ingredients whenever possible. If we can't find suitable organic option we always try to use the highest quality ingredients.

Our balms and oils have average shelf life of 6 months or possibly much longer if stored properly. We use only natural ingredients without any preservatives so it's very important to store the products products in preferably lower temperatures and away from sunlight. It's also crucial to prevent it from exposure to moisture which would encourage bacteria and mould growth that cause spolilage.

We attempt to process all orders within 2-3 business days. Estimated time of arrival per Australia Post guidelines are:

You can return your product within 14 days of receiving your parcel. Items must be returned in unused condition, unopened and in original packaging. Before sending the product back to us please email us first to request a return.
